Crabs With Guava Sauce
Ingredients:
1 kg fresh alimango,mudcrabs or alimasag, blue swimmer crabs
1/2 to 3/4 kg ripe guavas
1 & 1/2 cup water divided
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 tbsp. garlic, minced
1 tbsp. rock salt
1 tbsp. sugar
Seafood Crepes ala Magic Pan
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (115 grams) butter
1 tablespoon salad oil or cooking oil
1/2 cup minced onions
1 kilo fresh shrimp (small-medium size), half cooked, shelled and deveined
1 tablespoon all purpose flour
1/4 kilo fresh button mushrooms, quartered lengthwise
1 kilo fresh crabs (alimango or alimasag), cooked and shelled
1 teaspoon sea salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/4 teaspoon MSG
2 cups all purpose cream
1/8 cup cooking sherry or white wine
1 recipe Balat ng lumpia (eggroll wrapper)
Alimasag ( Blue Crab ) at Langka Sa Gata ( Crabs with coconut milk and jackfruit )
Ingredients:
500 ml coconut milk
1 kilo crabs, cut in four
300 gms flaked Jackfruit meat (unripe)
1 tbsp Lea & Perrins
1 small onion, sliced
Worcestershire Sauce
50 gms ginger, julienned
500 ml coconut cream
6 pcs lemongrass
50 gms small green chili pepper
2 tsps gariic, minced
salt and pepper
Butong With Crabs (Crabs with Coconut Water and Meat)
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons sliced onion
1/4 cup sliced tomatoes
2 and 1/2 cups grated buko meat(young coconut meat)
1 cup coconut water
1/4 teaspoons salt
3 boiled crabs, out into halves
2 tablespoons green onions
Rellenong Alimango (Stuffed Mud Crabs)
Ingredients:
8 live crabs
3 oz. frozen crab meat
2 tbsps. cooking oil
2 cloves garlic. minced
1 onion, chopped
1 medium tomato, chopped
1 red and green pepper, coarsely chopped
1 tsp. sugar
1 small box raisins
1 tbsp. patis
2 stalks green onion, chopped
2 eggs
dash of pepper
cooking oil for frying
