Ginataang Hipon (Shrimp in Coconut Milk)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 kg fresh shrimps, small, heads removed
3-4 pcs siling haba, finger-like pepper to taste
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup coconut cream
1 pc small cucumber, sliced
1 pc whole tomato, sliced
How to cook Guinataang Hipon
- In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, shrimps, siling haba and salt. Simmer slowly until almost dry.
- Add coconut cream. Stir lightly under low heat until oil separates from the mixture.
- Serve hot topped with sliced cucumber and tomatoes. Serves 8.
